Review of Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner on Natural Hair

1BlessedNatural: Review of Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner on Natural Hair

Happy Sunday, my blessed naturals!
Last week, I removed my braids. My bottle of Curls Unleashed Leave-In Conditioner is almost empty, so I decided to try the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner. I tried it on wet and dry hair...

My Review

my wet hair after applying the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner

Wet hair: When I applied the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner to my wet hair, it defined my curls and made them soft. My hair felt really moisturized.

Dry hair: I also used the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner on dry hair for a twist out. My hair hair was still soft and moisturized.

Dry hair: Flat twists with Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner

Overall

Although, I was pleased with how the conditioner made my hair feel, I was not pleased with the price of the product. There are many other leave-in conditioners that do the same job (if not, better) and do not cost $15.00 a bottle. On the positive side, there is a lot of the product in the bottle. Plus, I only needed to use about a dime-sized amount on each of the 4 sections of my hair. So, if you are looking to buy one good product, but you are not a fan of buying a lot of products, the Mixed Chicks may be a good choice for you. I also wasn't too thrilled with the fragrance because I tend to like more tropical, fruity, or sweet smelling fragrances.

The Mixed Chicks website does have a place where you can purchase trial packs. I would suggest requesting the samples to help you make your decision of whether to buy the regular sized product or not.
